- We assume that you have a domain name registered through www.opensrs.com
- Let’s start from the Login screen of their webpage.
- Domain name transfers must be initiated at the ‘New registrars Website’, that is the website for the domain registrar where you want your domain name ‘Transferred to’.
- First of all, you must first ensure that your domain name is ‘Not Locked’, or being prevented from being transferred out of this registry.
- Now enter your domain name, username and password, then click ‘Manage Domain’ button.
- You are now logged in to your opensrs.com account.
- Click on the ‘Domain Locking’ link at the top of page.
- If ‘Locking currently Disabled’ is shown, then the domain name is currently ‘Not Locked’, which means you are free to transfer it away from this registrar and into the registry of your choice.
- Also we are unable to change the locking status for this domain. So you would have to contact your domain supplier for assistance, if you want to change the locking status from its current state. If you find that your domain name is locked, then you will have to contact your domain supplier to have it unlocked.
- When finished, click the ‘Log-out’ link.
