How to create a MYSQL Database in cPanel?


  • After logging into the cPanel, click MySQL Databases Wizard under Databases category.

  • Enter a name for the new database and click next step.

  • Now you have to create a user for this database.

  • Enter the username, password and retype password. When ready click Create User.

  • Now check to assign All Privileges to the user then click next step.

  • You are done. The MySQL database has been created and the new user added to the database. The database name, username and password will all be needed for scripts that need to connect to the database.
